We Have the Homestudy and other ramblings

God continues to be so very good to us– and we are so undeserving of His favor.  Our social worker emailed the homestudy for us to look over and she will have the final copy this afternoon for us.

We have everything together for our trip to the USCIS (INS) office tomorrow afternoon and are praying that things will go well.

Today's Heartlight verse:

Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by

your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

— Jeremiah 32:17

As far as other news.  My mountain dulcimer came last week and I have been working out some tunes on it.  It has been a Godsend.  So relaxing to take a few minutes every day and work with it.  It is out of tune, and I don't know much about tuning stringed instruments but right now, it doesn't really matter.  It sounds good to me.  I'll take it to church with us Sunday, our Preacher plays the guitar and I'm sure he'll be able to help me get it right.

This is our day off from ballet rehersals this week.  The children have been outside all morning enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.  Shane is working to get everything he needs for travelling.  And we are doing well.

God is being so gracious to us.  We have had a joyful home these last days.  The children are excited about the ballet and about Dorcas, but they have been manageable.

We serve and awesome God!!!!

May he be gracious to each of you!
